The worst of primates

As per Darwin’s theory of evolution human share 90-99% of primates DNA. So what is that special 1-10% that makes us all human, Cognition? Consciousness? Ability to use tools? Ability to innovate? Ability to smile? Ability to find solutions?

May be some of these too, but above all of this I think the one very cruel and special ability that makes us the so called Human being is our “Ability to realize our power”

Yes, a dolphin has a incredible brain but it doesn’t realize the extends of what it can do with it. An elephant follows a path it takes to find water, which is passed on for generations. It doesn’t realize such an incredible gift of memory. The ultimate big cats has the ability to kill any pray, with its natural potential but it doesn’t realize that it can rule with such a power. The ultimate predators eat to their heart’s content and feeds their cubs and be happy with it. But we, the infamous human being have such an incredible realization of our abilities. What we are capable of!

Let’s see if we have put to good use.?

Oh I realize! I have ability to enslave people so I did..

Then I realize! I have the ability to drop weapons on people just because they were in a conflicting nation’s landscape so I did..

And now I realize! Knowledge is power so I will keep it for myself.. never let anybody afford it easily..

Oh then digging deeper I found money is the ultimate weapon of all, so I use it against the large body of society, so I did..

I have created poverty on one side and abundance on the other, I have helped the rich and drained the poor, I have poisoned mother earth, I have no name and respect of my own other than what I “OWN”

Oh! I realize I have done it all in a very small time of my existence on Earth..

And I realize and Thank God that no other animal had this ability to realize that I have done this to them.. I took away their happy homes, I took away their water, I took away their skin, I took away their trunk, I took away their future..

Yes, I am a primate with the ability to realize that ruined it all!
